The Kirkwood United Methodist Church (KUMC) LifeBridge Market offers heavily discounted prices to allow families in our community to get the fresh produce, meats, dairy, personal care items and household cleaning supplies they need affordably.
The LifeBridge Market is on the downstairs level of Kirkwood United Methodist Church, 201 W Adams Ave, 63122.
As they have received such a positive response from our Wednesday night clients, which now number about 20, KUMC would like to expand their offering and open the shop another day/night of the week. They need 6-8 new people to fill the shopping and/or Market worker roles and “on-the-job" training will be provided. Interested volunteers would start on Wednesday evenings, 5:15-7pm, or, if they want to help with shopping, the hours are more flexible--Mondays or Tuesdays, 9a-3p.
