Confirmation

The confirmation class is an intensive Christian experience at KUCC, offered to all students in the 8th grade. It meets Thursday afternoons at 4:30 PM, from September through May, leading to the opportunity for Confirmation on Palm Sunday.

Confirmands engage in a study of the Holy Scriptures, the confessions and beliefs of the historic church as well as the United Church of Christ, and consider the meaning of faith as it relates to contemporary issues. As part of their preparation they are expected to be faithful in attendance at worship and retreats and to prepare their own personal statement of faith. The pastors, with adults and recent confirmands from the church, provide the leadership.
