KUCC has many talented youth and adults. KUCC members are active and interested in serving, and sharing their talents. Our Music Ministry includes the KUCC Chimers, LOGOS Children's Choir, and grade 5-7 LOGOS Tone Chime Choir. Our Chancel Choir sings for the 9:00 worship service and rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:15 and on Sunday mornings at 8:30. Our Laudate music team leads worship at 10:30.

2005, we welcomed to our staff Mr. Douglas Potts as our Minister of Music. Mr Potts began his musical studies on the piano at age 9, and has a degree in Piano Performance from the St. Louis Conservatory of Music, having studied locally with Dorothy Smutz, and then in the studio of noted international concert pianist Joseph Kalichstein. Mr. Potts’ past musical activities have been to serve as the Director of Music for St. Anthony of Padua Church, and the Director of both the German Men’s Chorus and the German Women’s Chorus, both affiliated with the German Cultural Society. When not active musically, Mr. Potts is active in the commercial real estate industry, and holds the title of Senior Review Appraiser for Commerce Bank.Among his responsibilities at Kirkwood UCC are the following: to serve as organist/pianist for morning worship, direct our adult Chancel Choir, provide leadership for the Laudate music team (contemporary service), and children’s music as part of the LOGOS program
